Are weddings in Ireland legally binding?

If we want to have a legally binding ceremony in Ireland will we be required to travel there 3 months before our wedding?

No, we can arrange for all the legal marriage paperwork to be submitted remotely. Therefore ye will not have to travel to Ireland in advance of your wedding.

What paperwork will I need for an Irish elopement?

The precise paperwork needed for your elopement in Ireland varies depending on your home country. But for most couples, you’ll need your passports, plus documentation concerning marital status (and proof if you’ve been widowed or divorced).
